Reglement // Regulations:

Reglement: International Sheltie Agility Championship (Sheltie VM) 2022 følger FCI’s agility regulativ.

Klasse 1 (25 cm, 35 cm, 45)
Klasse 2+3 (30 cm, 40 cm, 50 cm)
Senior (20 cm, 30 cm, 40 cm)

Regulations: The International Sheltie Agility Championship (ISAC) 2020 will follow the FCI Agility Regulations. All competitors must be citizens of the countries they represent or have permanent resident status. The competition is open to all Shetland sheepdogs (small, medium and large) with an official pedigree. The dogs can only compete in the grade in which they compete in their own country. Parallel to ISAC a separate competition will be held for senior dogs (minimum age of 7) in grade 2. The senior dogs will jump at a lower height, they cannot compete in the team competition and there is no final for the senior dogs.

Jumping heights:
Grade 1 (25 cm, 35 cm, 45)
Grade 2+3 (30 cm, 40 cm, 50 cm)
Senior/Veteran (20 cm, 30 cm, 40 cm)

– Friday – Team competition and team final

o The teams are divided into small and medium/large (mixed). A team consists of 3-4 handlers and dogs. Dogs from different FCI grades (1, 2 or 3) can be at the same team, but one dog can only participate for one team. The two results (agility and jumping) of the best 3 dogs in each run of each team are added together to determine the 8 teams, which will qualify for the final. The ISAC Team Final is a relay race where 4 separate courses are built in an (extended) agility ring. The time starts when the first dog passes the starting line and is stopped when the fourth dog passes the finish line. There is a baton change between each run. Faults and refusals are judged as normal. If one starter is disqualified, the starter will get 50 points and must finish the run correctly. The team with the fastest time and fewest faults will win the team competition.

– Saturday – qualification for the individual finals in grade 1, 2 and 3

o Qualification for the final will only be possible through the individual courses and not the team runs. In this individual qualification an agility round and a jumping round is run in each grade. Both rounds are scored separately for faults and time for all competitors, and a combination score (agility and jumping together) is also kept. If one handler qualifies in both runs, the next handler in place from the overall ranking will qualify as well. It is possible to qualify for the final with more than one dog. If there are countries, which are not represented in the finals (grade 2 and 3 only) based on qualifying on the courses, then the best handler of that country (agility and jumping combined scores together) will run the finals (grade 2 and 3 only) too. Large dogs will participate in the final for medium dogs and the jump height will be set to large.
